In the months leading up to my wedding day, there was lots of planning to be done and many decisions to be made. One of the best decisions I made, as challenging as it was, was to make sure I took time to exercise. It is so easy to put off going to the gym when there are so many other things to do.
Of course, like many brides, my focus was on feeling comfortable in my dress and looking my best on the "big day." Being a part of Shape Up with Sherry Boot camp helped me to achieve that and beyond. I had not taken the time to think about how the physical activity I was doing would benefit me mentally during this time.
It was more than just coming to workout. It became a place to relieve stress, to laugh and to be encouraged all while getting fit. I attended boot camp two days a week and I knew I was guaranteed the opportunity to work towards becoming a better version of myself in multiple ways.
Sherry created an atmosphere conducive to all fitness levels. Her class met me where I was and took me as far as I allowed myself to go. Each class afforded the me the opportunity to focus on different areas of my body to help tone, strengthen, increase flexibility and build muscle.
As a result I felt very comfortable and confident as I walked down the aisle on my wedding day.
